What We Do

Uniting new students in their city by fostering a community and connections with local people and nightlife.

At Student Union, we have been students before and understand how important it is for new students to meet the new culture, make friends, and adapt to local life, including enjoying the nightlife of their new city.

For that, we have built a supportive community where our mission is to unite all new students and make them feel welcomed in their new city. This has come to life thanks to our amazing parties and events every semester. The main party we organize is the Semester Welcome Party, which allows everyone to join and have the chance to make friends from the very beginning. We believe in equality, and the Semester Welcome Party helps new students come together to forge meaningful connections with fellow students and locals. It’s the perfect opportunity to build a solid network from day one.

Moving to Auckland was a big change, and this organization has been great for finding all the info I need. From study resources to finding parties and events. Well, It was pretty straightforward to me! I get to meet lots of new people and get some tips, tricks etc on emails. Although I thought it was strange that I was getting so many emails, I thought it was just some promotions! As time passed I had fun in events and nice time with all resources in my dorm. Surely check them out when you get the chance! I'm heading to Madrid next month and I'll definitely look them up again.

I only got to know about Student Union when I shifted to Adelaide! It did really help me get through my semester in a flash! Term ends and assignments are heavy already! Having a part-time job hits the stress of the stadium. Relaxing with SU peeps over their events was just the perfect getaway plan for weekends.

Comfort space for all introverts too ahahah. I never thought I'm a party person but with the right people, anyone can! I went to one of their first events after reading the semester preparation booklet! Did not know what to expect but was super warm and welcoming!! In a matter of a couple of hours, I already got to know so many people and it just got better as the night passed! A core memory for sureee!
